    What are exhaust manifolds for?

    1. Getting more air into your engine and more exhaust out is the key to a performance motor. That's where exhaust headers are significant as the first revenue of an exhaust system. Exhaust performance headers manipulate the airflow with the performance-robbing exhaust manifold that comes with your car.
    2. Headers provide each cylinder with its mini exhaust pipe, which means exhaust headers prevent interference among cylinders; thus, the back pressure that occurs in common exhaust manifolds. When cylinders don't have to fight with each other to expel their exhaust, they can put more power through the wheels, pushing the vehicle. Combined with a high-performance cold air intake, and a cat-back exhaust system, a header system removes all restrictions of your engine, then, it can perform at its full potential.

Swapping out an engine's restrictive exhaust manifolds for freer-flowing header pipes is a time-tested way to gain quick improvements in power, performance, and sound. At FLASHARK, we have a vast inventory of headers to fit vehicles from the 1950s right through today's most popular cars and trucks. Don¡¯t let our low prices fool you: the quality is there, as our headers are formed from stainless steel, using mandrel bends and TIG welds. Exhaust gaskets and installation hardware are typically included. Our beautifully designed headers also add just the right amount of bling for your engine compartment!

Exhaust Header VS Manifold, which is the better choice?

The structural differences between exhaust headers and manifolds are the material and size. From the material, exhaust headers are made of lighter, thinner steel, while exhaust manifolds are made of thick iron. Exhaust headers are also longer than exhaust manifolds. When in use, exhaust manifolds create back pressure, which lowers performance. Because each cylinder of the engine is given its own tube, however, headers eliminate this problem; thus, allowing the gases to exit without the creation of back pressure. Therefore, exhaust headers are a BETTER choice than an exhaust manifold.

Replacing or upgrading your exhaust header is necessary for both engine performance and sound. Whether on or off the track, exhaust headers provide more horsepower and improved exhaust sound. FLASHARK offers many products to help you create your own custom engine headers. It's really easy and convenient to use: direct bolt-on, no modification needed.

Overall fit like it's supposed to

Only thing I didn't like was the position of the o2 sensor on the collector it's pointed straight up and doesn't allow you to fit an o2 sensor in once installed so I had to weld in my own o2 sensors on off the side of the collector where there's room

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience. We will collect your suggestions and improve our product even more.

    Fitment

Seem to fit good. Directions were clear. Although one bolt on cylinder 2 does not seem to reach threads of head.

Hi, I apologize for the inconvenience. We will collect your comments and try to give you a better experience next time.
