A2: It fits only the exact 5.7L and 6.1L HEMI V8 applications in the Fitment table. Confirm the year, trim, engine, and selected option before ordering; V6 models and later unlisted applications are not included.

Q3: Does it fit a 2010 Dodge Charger R/T or SRT8?

A3: Yes. The standard intake fits a 2010 Charger R/T with the 5.7L HEMI and a 2010 Charger SRT8 with the 6.1L HEMI. The Oil Catch Can + Cold Air Intake option is limited to the 2006–2010 Charger R/T 5.7L application.

Q4: Does it fit a 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8?

A4: Yes, the standard intake fits the 2008–2010 Challenger SRT8 with the 6.1L HEMI. It is not for later 6.4L SRT8 or Scat Pack applications.

A5: Typical intake-only gains for this application are approximately 5–15 hp. Actual results depend on the vehicle, calibration, installation, intake-air temperature, exhaust changes, fuel quality, and supporting hardware.

A6: MPG is dominated by driving habits; an intake alone can't guarantee a measurable gain. Expect the main benefit as throttle response and intake tone rather than fuel economy.

Q7: Will this void my warranty?

A8: The kit uses the factory sensor, but correct installation matters. A11: The cone filter and aluminum pipe typically create a deeper, more aggressive induction sound under acceleration. Sound is most noticeable under load and may remain milder during steady cruising or light throttle.

Q12: Is it safe to drive in rain?

A12: Normal rain driving is fine when the filter, heat shield, splash panels, and hood seals are installed correctly. Avoid deep water crossings and standing water because water ingestion can cause hydrolock and severe engine damage.

Q13: How difficult is installation?

A13: Installation typically takes approximately 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The work includes removing the factory airbox and tube, transferring the original sensor, fitting the heat shield, and securing the pipe, couplers, breather connection, clamps, and filter.

Q14: Does the heat shield create a sealed airbox?

A14: The heat shield helps separate the filter from direct engine heat and guides available cooler air toward the filter area. Position it correctly, retain compatible factory ducting, and keep the filter clear of major heat sources.

Q15: Can I reinstall the factory intake later?

A15: Yes. Retain the factory airbox, tube, sensor hardware, breather fittings, brackets, bolts, and clamps so the vehicle can be returned to stock when needed.
