The LT1 6.2L in your sixth-gen Camaro SS is a 455-hp masterpiece, but GM shipped it with an airbox designed for NVH compliance and emission targets, not for what the engine can actually pull. At wide-open throttle, the factory intake becomes the bottleneck — right when you want the LT1 to deliver.

Flashark's 4.0" cold air intake removes that bottleneck. A full-diameter 101mm mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube replaces the restrictive factory plumbing. The massive 6.5-inch conical dry filter sits inside a sealed steel heat shield that routes intake air from the coldest zone in the Camaro engine bay.
