Product Specifications

3-Inch Turbo Downpipe for the 6.6L LML Duramax

Replace the restrictive factory turbo downpipe on your 2011–2015 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra HD with this Flashark 3-inch stainless-steel downpipe.

Located directly after the turbocharger, the factory downpipe contains a narrow, crushed section that can restrict exhaust flow. The larger 3-inch Flashark downpipe provides a smoother exhaust path while retaining the compatible downstream exhaust and emissions equipment.

The mandrel-bent stainless-steel construction, TIG-welded joints and included thermal wrap are designed to withstand the heat and vibration generated by the LML Duramax turbo-diesel engine.

Important: This is a turbo downpipe, not a DPF delete pipe. Installing this downpipe alone does not remove the truck’s DPF, DOC, DEF or SCR system.

Key Features

  • Full 3-Inch Pipe: Provides a larger and smoother exhaust path than the restrictive factory turbo downpipe.
  • V-Band Connection: Designed for 2011–2015 LML applications equipped with the compatible V-band exhaust connection.
  • T-304 Stainless-Steel Construction: Offers resistance to exhaust heat and corrosion.
  • Mandrel-Bent Tubing: Helps maintain the pipe’s internal diameter through the bends.
  • TIG-Welded Joints: Reinforced connections provide strength and reliable exhaust sealing.
  • Titanium Heat Wrap Included: Helps manage radiant heat around the rear of the engine and firewall area.
  • Compatible with the Factory-Style Turbo: Designed around the original-style LML turbo outlet and V-band connection.

What to Expect

  • Reduced restriction immediately after the turbocharger
  • Smoother exhaust flow through the turbo downpipe
  • Potentially quicker turbo response
  • A slightly more noticeable turbo and exhaust sound
  • Improved support for compatible intake, exhaust and tuning upgrades

Performance Notice: Actual results depend on the vehicle’s condition, turbocharger, downstream exhaust, ECU calibration and other modifications. A specific horsepower, torque or fuel-economy increase is not guaranteed.

  • Professional installation is recommended because access behind the turbocharger is limited.
  • Inspect and test-fit the product before wrapping, modifying or fully installing it.
