       What are exhaust manifolds for?

      1.Getting more air into your engine and more exhaust out is the key to a performance motor. That's where exhaust headers are significant as the first revenue of an exhaust system. Exhaust performance headers manipulate the airflow with the performance-robbing exhaust manifold that comes with your car.
      2. Headers provide each cylinder with its own mini exhaust pipe, which means exhaust headers prevent interference among cylinders; thus, the back pressure that occurs in common exhaust manifolds. When cylinders don't have to fight with each other to expel their exhaust, they can put more power through the wheels, pushing the vehicle. Combining with a high-performance cold air intake, and a cat-back exhaust system, a header system removes all restrictions of your engine, then, it can perform at its full potential.

      Exhaust Header VS Manifold, which is the better choice?

      The structural differences between exhaust headers and manifolds are the material and size. From the material, exhaust headers are made of lighter, thinner steel, while exhaust manifolds are made of thick iron. Exhaust headers are also longer than exhaust manifolds. When in use, exhaust manifolds create back pressure, which lowers performance. Because each cylinder of the engine is given its own tube, however, headers eliminate this problem; thus, allowing the gases to exit without the creation of back pressure. Therefore, exhaust headers are a BETTER choice than an exhaust manifold.

      Great headers. Bad packaging

      They fit surprisingly well on my 94 5.8 2wd. The quality is amazing for the money spent. They look good too.
      Do yourself a favor and by different header gaskets and bolts.
      The bolts are soft and cheap. The gaskets will likely be messed up because of the lack of care while packaging.
      Only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because of the crappy packaging and cheap header bolts.

      Headers look great. Fitment is ok. Could use some tweaking on the jig to get them to be better. For the price and the materials I don’t mind modifying to work.

      New headers

      Beautiful headers, I had to install them with the motor in the truck, that made it a little more difficult. I don’t really have a complaint but the bolts and studs were just plain bolts and were 5 1/6” I have 3/8”. I know well enough to use only grade 8 bolts. The way the tubes are designed on the right side make sure you start all bolts before tightening anything. Great product for new engine install,they will fit fine and bolt right up to factory Y pipe.

      Good buy

      Welds are good, fits perfectly to the 351w. Although, I did not get the right bolts for them way to small, but no big deal must of been a simple mistake. I just got some bolts at local store.

      Shorty headers for 92 f250 5.8

      Headers look great and fit great other than the threads for the erg valve are completely wrong I had to modify that to make It work other than that good product if you can make the egr valve work
