Scion TC Headers vs. Manifold: Which Is the Better Choice for Performance?
When comparing exhaust headers to exhaust manifolds, the key differences lie in material and design. Exhaust headers, like those offered by FLASHARK for your 2005-2010 Scion TC, are made from lightweight, high-quality stainless steel, while traditional exhaust manifolds are typically made from thicker, heavier iron. The design of exhaust headers also differs—they are longer than manifolds, with each cylinder having its own tube. This eliminates the back pressure commonly created by manifolds, which can reduce engine performance. By allowing exhaust gases to flow more freely, Scion TC headers maximize airflow and prevent performance loss, making them the superior choice for your engine.
Upgrading your Scion TC with FLASHARK exhaust headers is a great way to enhance both performance and sound. These headers not only improve horsepower—typically providing an increase of 10-15 HP—but they also create a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note. Whether you're hitting the track or cruising on the street, FLASHARK headers are designed for easy installation with a direct bolt-on application, requiring no modifications. Upgrade to FLASHARK Scion TC headers today and unlock the full potential of your engine!

I got headers for my Impreza and ran into issues with that. Once I get those straightened out I'll install these and then leave another review

Quality header!! Best bang for your bucks.
The metal is of good quality and has responded to heat cycles very well. The horsepower difference is definitely noticeable along with a cold air intake.

Arrived several days early, great quality. Didn't come with the bottom gasket which was ok since mine old one was good, and threads were wrong. easy install. Sounds amazing. I would recommend a good muffler, it is a little raspy
Put this catch can on my ’21 Q60. Install was straightforward, hoses lined up perfectly. Engine feels smoother on acceleration, and I’m confident it’s preventing future carbon buildup.
Put these on my ’10 G37 Coupe last month. Fitment was spot-on, install went smooth, and no rattles or leaks after a few hundred miles. Noticeable bump in power and a deeper exhaust tone without too much drone.
Installed these on my ’08 G37X over the weekend, and I’m impressed. The fitment was spot-on, no weird gaps or alignment issues. Throttle response feels snappier, and there’s a nice bump in low-end torque. The sound is a bit more aggressive but still daily-driver friendly.
I installed these on my 2012 G37 Coupe. Fitment was decent—took some effort around the steering shaft but nothing crazy. Once installed, the car feels more responsive and definitely pulls harder above 4K RPM. The sound is throatier too, especially at wide open throttle. Paired with a tune, it made a noticeable difference. So far, no leaks or issues.
