Exhaust Header VS Manifold, which is the better choice?

The structural differences between exhaust headers and manifolds are the material and size. From the material, exhaust headers are made of lighter, thinner steel, while exhaust manifolds are made of thick iron. Exhaust headers are also longer than exhaust manifolds. When in use, exhaust manifolds create back pressure, which lowers performance. Because each cylinder of the engine is given its own tube, however, headers eliminate this problem; thus, allowing the gases to exit without the creation of back pressure. Therefore, exhaust headers are a BETTER choice than an exhaust manifold.

Fit great, will def buy again

71 c10, using original big block mounts with plates keeping everything in factory location. No frame clearance issues on top or bottom rail, plenty of room. Both sides drop in from the top, all bolt holes lined up. Only thing tight is around #3 plug, used a shorter regular socket with wobble extension instead of spark plug socket to tighten plug. I trimmed stock style boots, some smaller angled ones would really be ideal. Overall very pleased with the quality, fitment, and price. Have several eras of Chevy trucks and will definitely be using again.

1 7/8 ls swap headers for 60-88 Chevy trucks

Product fit perfect but I had to use the adjustable mounts to slide the engine back and had to trim a small section maybe a nickels thickness on the trucks engine mount for fitment, but overall I would definitely buy them again.

Quality at half the price

Don’t waste your money on name brands, these perform just as good if not better. Zero issues during install and they sound phenomenal. Buy these headers if you’re planning an LS swap on your C10 💪🏽
