H11, H8 and H9 bulbs are used in different lighting positions depending on the vehicle. A matching bulb number does not by itself guarantee sufficient room inside every headlamp or fog-lamp housing.
Focused LED Placement
The slim LED board is designed to position the light source near the location used by the original halogen filament. Proper bulb orientation helps the reflector or projector use the available light more effectively.
Final beam shape still depends on the vehicle’s lamp housing, bulb orientation and headlamp aim. After installation, inspect the cutoff and beam height before driving at night.
Cooling Design
The aluminum body, copper heat-transfer tubes, finned heat sink and active fan are designed to move heat away from the LED assembly during operation. Leave enough room behind the housing for the cooling assembly, wiring and dust cover.
Keep wiring clear of the fan and do not compress the cooling assembly against the rear cover. Service life can vary with operating temperature, installation space, voltage stability and daily use.
Weather-Ready Construction
The bulb assembly is intended for normal rain, snow and changing road conditions when installed securely in a suitable headlamp or fog-lamp housing.
Reinstall the factory dust cover when the housing has one and the cooling assembly fits without interference. A loose cover, damaged seal or exposed connector can allow moisture and debris into the lamp housing.

- Switch off the vehicle and allow the original bulbs to cool.
- Compare the original bulb number with H11, H8 or H9.

Do not force the bulb into a housing with different locking tabs, and do not leave wiring where it can contact the cooling fan.

Moisture inside the lamp housing, damaged seals or cloudy lenses should be repaired before installing replacement bulbs. A new bulb cannot correct a damaged reflector, projector or outer lens.

Park the vehicle on level ground facing a wall and inspect the cutoff, height and left-to-right alignment. Re-aim the lamps when the beam is too high, uneven or distracting to other drivers.
The beam should remain controlled by the vehicle’s reflector or projector. Stop using the conversion when the light cannot be aimed correctly or produces excessive stray light.
