Q: Will this fit my 2013 Honda Civic EX Coupe with the 1.8L?

A: Yes — this is a direct bolt-on for all 2012-2015 Civic DX, EX, LX, SE, and Touring models with the 1.8L SOHC engine, including both sedan and coupe.

Q: Does it fit the 2012-2015 Civic Si?

A: No. The Civic Si uses a 2.4L K24Z7 engine with a completely different intake configuration. This kit is only for the 1.8L SOHC.

Q: How much horsepower will I actually gain?

A: Expect 5-10 wheel horsepower on a stock 1.8L. The biggest difference you'll feel is throttle response and mid-range pull between 3,000-5,500 RPM.

Q: Do I need a tune or programmer?

A: No tune required. The factory ECU adapts automatically to the increased airflow. Install it, clear your ECU if needed (disconnect battery for 5 minutes), and drive.

Q: Will it throw a check engine light?

A: Not if installed correctly. Make sure the breather hose (D24-d16×230mm) is connected to your factory PCV port and all clamps are tight. A vacuum leak is the #1 cause of CEL after intake installs.

Q: Is the filter dry or oiled?

A: Dry filter — no oil required. Tap out loose debris, spray with filter cleaner, rinse gently with low-pressure water from the inside out, air dry completely, reinstall. Do every 10,000-15,000 miles.

Q: Is it safe in rain?

A: Normal rain driving is fine. Avoid deep standing water — if the filter ingests water, it can hydrolock your engine.
