2009–2013 GMC/Chevrolet 4.8L–6.2L V8 3.5-Inch Cold Air Intake Kit
This 3.5-inch heat-shielded cold air intake kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox and intake tract on the listed GMT900 trucks and SUVs. Its open-element dry filter draws from the fender-side area, while the black powder-coated heat shield helps separate the filter from radiator and exhaust-manifold heat.
The mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum tube is designed to reduce intake restriction, especially above 3,500 RPM on 6.0L and 6.2L applications. Advertised driving changes include sharper throttle tip-in, stronger mid-range pull, and a deeper intake growl under wide-open throttle; results vary with vehicle condition, calibration, installation, and supporting hardware.
Installation is approximately 60–90 minutes with basic hand tools. The kit reuses the factory MAF sensor, mounts at factory locations, and requires no drilling or cutting. Keep the removed factory airbox and intake tube intact if you want to return the vehicle to stock later.

- Choose another application if: Your vehicle is a 2007–2008 GMT900 model, a 2014 K2XX truck, or uses a different MAF housing.

Check Before Ordering
- Vehicle: Match all four fields—year, make, model, and engine—to an Exact row in the Fitment table.
- 2014 applications: Confirm the platform, engine code, MAF housing, and tube routing with support before ordering. Do not select this kit by displacement alone.
- MAF sensor: Plan to transfer the original factory MAF sensor to the new intake tube. It is not included in the box.
- Filter service: This SKU includes a dry washable filter. Do not apply filter oil.
- Emissions rules: Review the Compliance Notice below before ordering if your vehicle is registered in California or another CARB-adopting state.
- Installation: Keep the original airbox, tube, clamps, and hardware together if you may return the vehicle to stock.
