Small block headers

I've had these headers on my truck for a little over a month now and I have to say that these are the best shortie headers for the price. You do have to bend the factory y-pipe but other than that it's a straight bolt on. I do recommend that you make a custom y-pipe though, I just bolted my new one up and it sounds even better with a little bit more power too.

SS Headers

The headers fit perfect and were shipped really fast. Where cheaper than the painted steel competitors and look fantastic. If you would do a little alteration, they would fit on angle plug heads and you could open a whole new market, being not made for a s10.

Install was easy.

Unlike the picture, the muffler goes between the new pipe and the old tailpipe,or in the back of the new pipe.

With the 4" exhaust with muffler, the noise is significantly louder than stock. I was hoping for quiet, but that is not the case. You can hear the extra sound of the exhaust going down the highway.

good overall

overall they are fairly easy to install. my car has 240000 miles so i stripped a few bolts, but other wise its really good. they do start to temper within a few miles and mine have turned bronze already. the top o2 scensor needs extended, which is easy. with my fart can catback its super ricey and crazy loud.

WOW I am impressed!

Just received today for my '70 f100 shortbed...vintage 302 with 5speed Tremec. Install begins tomorrow. In my fifty plus years (yeah doing it myself) of hot rodding, these look to be some of the best quality reasonably priced headers in a long time. Don't know about anyone else, but mine came stainless shiny!!! love it!

Bolt on tips not welded

The tips are fastened on by a hose clamp. Sounds ok, cheap
