  • Three exhaust configurations: Choose a 4-inch DPF Race, 4-inch Downpipe-Back, or 5-inch Downpipe-Back with Muffler.
  • T-409 stainless steel: Suitable for the heat and operating conditions of an exhaust system.
  • Welded hanger locations: The FLES08120 pipe sections use welded hangers at the applicable factory rubber-mount locations.
  • Configuration-specific installation: Pipe routing, connection points, cutting, and reused factory parts depend on the selected exhaust configuration and truck setup.

What This DPF Delete Pipe Changes

The DPF Race configuration replaces the applicable factory DPF-related exhaust section with a multi-piece pipe assembly. Downpipe-back configurations replace a longer portion of the exhaust system according to the selected SKU.

This product changes the exhaust aftertreatment hardware. It does not remove or block the engine's EGR valve and cooler, and it does not reroute the crankcase ventilation system. EGR delete, CCV reroute, and DEF-only components are not included.

What Is Included

Package contents vary by selected exhaust configuration.

4" DPF Race — SKU FLES08120

  • Pipe section 11711
  • Pipe section 11213
  • Connection section 40220

This configuration uses welded exhaust hangers at the applicable factory mounting locations. Installation reuses applicable factory fasteners, rubber exhaust mounts, and the factory tailpipe connection.

Downpipe-Back Configurations

The 4-inch Downpipe-Back and 5-inch Downpipe-Back with Muffler use different components from the FLES08120 DPF Race configuration. Select the required SKU before ordering.

Additional Parts and Services

  • Tuning, programming, software, and electronic modules are not included.
  • Applicable factory fasteners, rubber mounts, and exhaust connections are reused during FLES08120 installation.
  • Cutting or exhaust adjustment can be required for some cab, bed, wheelbase, suspension, or existing exhaust configurations.
  • Professional installation is recommended.

Tune and Factory-System Requirements

A compatible vehicle calibration is required when the applicable DPF-related hardware and sensors are removed from the factory system. The exhaust pipes do not include a tuner, software license, calibration, or electronic module.

Vehicle operation depends on the selected exhaust configuration, calibration, sensor handling, installation quality, and the condition of the truck. A calibration does not guarantee that every warning, diagnostic code, or drivability issue will be prevented.

Possible CEL and System Effects

Removing factory DPF-related hardware without the required vehicle configuration can result in a check engine light, diagnostic trouble codes, regeneration-related faults, warning messages, or reduced-power operation. Installation and calibration must be compatible with the truck's factory control system and intended use.

Technician reminder: Identify the affected exhaust components, sensors, lines, hangers, and connection points before removing the factory system. DPF, DOC, SCR, DEF, catalyst, and EGR components perform different functions and should not be treated as interchangeable parts.

Installation Notes

  • Allow the exhaust system to cool completely before beginning work.
  • Support the vehicle with properly rated lifting and support equipment.
  • Check clearance around the OEM hitch, spare tire, wheels, suspension, transmission crossmember, and surrounding components.
  • Cutting can be required during factory exhaust removal or for certain wheelbase and exhaust configurations.
  • Position the pipe sections, hangers, and clamps before final tightening.
  • Check all connections and surrounding clearance after installation and after the first heat cycles.
