The M54 headers feature a 6-2-1 lightweight piping design and are made from T304 stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting durability and performance.

These high-performance headers were developed in Germany and are manufactured out of heavy gauge T304 stainless steel for long life. They are intended for track and off-road use only unless you weld in catalytic converters. The kit comes complete with gaskets. Left-hand drive models only.

Build quality is better than expected. I bought these for my M54 powered Z3 although I havent installed in my Z yet but I did put them on my mockup engine and they fit well. Flanges are nice and thick and the welds look good so longevity shouldn't be an issue.

This product has made me so amazing but it isn’t is for my car, 2004 BMW 530i E60 however it was a perfect fit, and 1000% recommend it, it’s great quality, great sound, all around amazing boost in power, and overall a fantastic product. While this did bolt straight up to the engine it did not bolt to the mid pipe which I fully expected and am not mad about it whatsoever because I already have plans to finish the exhaust this took me relatively 5-6 hours with help from my buddy which we are both building bmws up from the ground. The stainless steel material makes it easy for any fabrication that may be needed and is a strong and reliable metal for these kinds of products. I am very happy with this purchase.

Nice and deep, give the car a nice roar

I’m pretty impressed overall. The packaging was top-notch. Everything arrived perfectly sealed, and there was no damage during shipping.
As far as the fitment goes, the headers were nearly perfect. However, I did run into a couple of small issues. First, I had to slightly modify the engine mount bracket to ensure a proper fit. It wasn’t a big deal, just a bit of adjustment needed. The other issue I encountered was with the O2 bung placement. I had to modify the firewall slightly to accommodate it, but again, it was a pretty straightforward fix and is required with mostly all aftermarket header replacements on these e46’s.
One thing I would recommend is to stick with OEM header gaskets instead of using the ones provided in the kit. The OEM gaskets seem to offer a better seal and fit, and heat protection for the upper plastic valve cover.
All in all, I’m very pleased with the headers. They’re a great upgrade for the E46, and despite the minor adjustments, the process was pretty painless.
