FLASHARK Turbo Downpipe Exhaust for Subaru GT35 & GT35R 3 Inch
Built for Subaru WRX and WRX STI turbo-upgrade projects, this Flashark 3-inch catless downpipe is designed specifically for Garrett GT35 or GT35R turbochargers with a T3 turbine housing. It replaces the restrictive exhaust section after the turbo to support a freer-flowing 3-inch exhaust path.
Constructed from T-304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing, a CNC-machined T3 flange, and TIG-welded joints, this downpipe is made for performance builds that require a durable connection between the upgraded turbocharger and a compatible 3-inch exhaust system.
- GT35 / GT35R specific: Requires a Garrett GT35 or GT35R turbocharger with T3 turbine housing.
- 3-inch full-diameter design: Supports a compatible 3-inch cat-back exhaust without a neck-down section.

Important: This is a catless downpipe for a GT35/GT35R turbo conversion. It does NOT fit a stock turbocharger, including VF-series or TD04 units. ECU tuning is required after installation. Intended for off-road or track use only; check local emissions regulations before purchase.
What Does This Downpipe Do?
The downpipe is the critical exhaust section between your turbocharger's turbine wheel and the rest of the exhaust system. The factory EJ257 downpipe is 2.5" with a restrictive catalytic converter—it's the single biggest exhaust bottleneck on a GT35-powered build.
By replacing it with Flashark's full 3" high-flow downpipe:
- Backpressure drops significantly → turbo spools faster, holds boost longer
- Exhaust gas temperature (EGT) drops → safer for high-boost tuning
- Mid-range torque improves → the GT35's sweet spot becomes accessible
- Power gains: 150–200 WHP over stock (GT35 + downpipe + proper tune)

Q: Will this fit my stock Subaru WRX or WRX STI turbo?
A: No. This downpipe is designed only for a Garrett GT35 or GT35R turbocharger with a T3 turbine housing. It does not fit stock VF-series or TD04 turbochargers because their flange patterns are different.
Q: Does this fit a standard Subaru Impreza 2.0L or 2.5L?
A: No. A standard Impreza model is not confirmed by vehicle name and displacement alone. This product requires a confirmed WRX EJ255 or WRX STI EJ257 application with a GT35/GT35R T3 turbo conversion.
Q: What years of Subaru WRX and WRX STI are confirmed?
A: Confirmed fitment is 2006–2014 Subaru WRX with EJ255 and 2008–2021 Subaru WRX STI with EJ257, provided the vehicle uses a compatible GT35 or GT35R turbocharger with T3 turbine housing.
Q: Is this a catted downpipe?
